Contiki Goes to International Pow Wow 2012!

This year, The U.S. Travel Association’s International Pow Wow, the travel industry’s premier international marketplace and the largest generator of travel to the U.S., came to Los Angeles for three intensive days of business meetings and exploration of the famed City of Angels!  Contiki’s Business Development Manager Melissa Beland-Roy and Travel Corporation intern Igor Bosnic represented at the conference!

Contiki kicked off the weekend at the  Los Angeles Consortium of Online Travel (LACOT) pre-Pow Wow meet-up on ION pool deck at the J.W. Marriott at the LA Live complex in Downtown Los Angeles.

Celebrate Contiki’s Birthday – The Original Since ’62!

The first Contiki tours began on April 29, 1962 – starting off in combi vans and taking young travelers through Europe.  Now with over 200 itineraries in 40+ countries with trips going through Europe, Australia, New Zealand, North America, Asia and Latin America, our spirit of adventure still lives on.  This Sunday, Contiki celebrates a milestone – 50 years of providing life-changing travel experiences… and we’re still going strong!

Cheers to another year (or 50!) of world discovery, self-discovery, and just all around amazing travel experiences.  Happy Birthday Contiki!

The vast majority of what we do is based on habitual behaviors and responses that are based on a story we created. This story then becomes our programming.
