The Giant Seated Buddha

Located on Lantau Island is the largest seated Buddha statue in the world.  People flock to this statue, located outside of Hong Kong, to pay their respects and burn incense for good fortune and take in the scenic views.

Casa di Giulietta

Last year, YouTube beauty guru Michelle Phan and fellow guru AndreasChoice visited Verona, Italy on Contiki’s Italian Espresso tour and visited the balcony that was said to inspire William Shakespeare when writing Romeo and Juliet.  There is a statue of Juliet in the courtyard, said to provide good luck – watch the video above as Andrea discovers this for herself!
